Man hit by motor vehicle while walking his dog
In this motor vehicle accident case, the law firm that handled the case reported they achieved a $2.5 Million settlement. The accident occurred when a driver hit a male pedestrian who was out walking his dog along the side of a road without a sidewalk. The victim of this accident was seriously injured. His ankle was fractured. In addition, his spleen was ruptured, causing extensive bleeding internally. His injuries resulted in renal failure which requires him to undergo dialysis for the rest of his life. Given his renal failure, he is a candidate for a liver transplant. At the time of the accident, the victim was only 57 years old.
