What I Love About Entry Level Jobs

Not everyone wants a simple, stress-free job their entire career.  Many people are happy to begin with an entry level job and gradually take on more responsibility, with the accompanying pay.

I’ve done all of that, working my way up from typist to management.  That meant trading my simple job, which I loved, for a complex, demanding, stressful job where I struggled just to stay ahead of the competition.  After fifteen years of convincing myself that’s what I wanted, I took a step backward and quit.

It only took me about two weeks of searching entry level jobs to find a job with a florist.

Today I have cut back on spending and luxuries and love my life.  What my job lacks in prestige and pay it more than makes up for in joy and simplicity.
