Single Mothers Can Make It Work
Ayesha didn’t know what she was going to do. Her husband had left her and her 10 year old son Billy, leaving unpaid bills in his wake. Billy used to be in a private school but now that his father had run off with his 22-year-old secretary, private school was now out of the question. Their home was already double-mortgaged and Ayesha was afraid that she and her son were going to be put out on the street. She immediately went to the local government office and applied for a government grant for single mothers, as Billy’s father and Ayesha had never been married. While she was waiting for her application to be reviewed and approved, she worked two jobs to support Billy and to pay the numerous bills.
