Hair Loss Treatment and Scams
I read the other day that the American Hair Loss Association advises against buying any hair loss treatment not approved by the FDA. That really narrows the scope down to just a few products. I can understand the caution, after all, according to one newspaper report, Americans spend three and a half billion dollars a year on hair loss treatments and most of them don’t work! But considering the rigorous testing a product has to go through before it gets FDA approval let alone the cost, I wonder whether this is a little too cautious. There could be some perfectly good products out there, especially herbal ones, that could improve a hair loss problem for many people. Results vary obviously from person to person so it’s wise to make sure the product comes from a reputable company and that it carries a full refund guarantee if you find it doesn’t work for you!
