Male Yeast Infection: Exploring Its Possible Causes

I never thought there was such a thing as a yeast infection, let alone a male yeast infection. When I found out through research that it affects women more than it affects men, I was crestfallen. I’m a woman, and I dread the possibility of contracting the disease. Why? Because aside from the fact that no sane person would want to have a disease, it’s what the yeast infection entails that gets me dreading it. For women, yeast infection causes extreme itchiness in the vagina, and I absolutely don’t want that. The male yeast infection is similar, but with the male sex organ, of course. A possible cause for male yeast infection is said to be through sexual congress. Male yeast infection can also be the result of a prolonged use of antibiotics. When the body is used to these antibiotics and you suddenly stop using, you may be susceptible to yeast accumulation. By taking note of these causes, one can do something to avoid it or at least have reasonable basis when one exhibits the symptoms.
