Chicken Coups - How much do you really need to spend?
I have seen some fairly fancy chicken coups for sale but I really don’t think you have to spend the amount they cost. $2000 for a chicken coup is quite a large amount to spend on a coup. I have found that if you have a good chicken coup plan you can build a pretty fancy coup for quater of the price . You can get a lot of the timber you need pre-cut at the lumber yard or cut the timbers you need yourself from recycled materials and it is just as affective.
