I love jewellry. Ever since I was a little girl I have made jewellry out of the strangest things. Small cardboard tubes with a bit of string made an interesting necklace when I was a child but somehow I don’t think I will be wearing that as an adult..

When you think about jewelry it is only stones that we use. They may be precious stones but they are stones just like the ones you find in the street or in your backyard. It seems odd that precious stones set in jewelry are every girls dream yet I was probably just as happy as a child with my string of small cardboard tubes around my neck. To me it was a wonderful necklace and what is more, I had made it myself.
