Please park and store your bike off-road
Recently, when I had an occasion to purchase motorcycle insurance in Calgary, my agent gave me this recommendation: to prevent your motorcycle from being stolen, do not park it in a location which is near passing roads — it may just be too great a temptation for someone, especially if you leave your motorcycle outside overnight. Instead, try to park your motorcycle at the end of a very long driveway, close to your house, and inside of a locked garage if at all possible. Moving your motorcycle off-road — especially to the rear of your home — will keep it from being seen. Don’t make it easy for others to steal your bike; keep it out of sight and safely in storage when you are not riding it.
