Amanda Beard Training for 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing
Amanda Beard, a three-time Olympian and gold medalist in the 200m breaststroke in 2004, is training for a shot at her fourth Olympic Games at the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. Until recently many did not think she had what it would take to enter a fourth Olympic Games in Beijing. However at the Santa Clara Grand Prix, Amanda Beard produced a quality 200m breaststroke, which might just turn into a fourth Olympic invitation. She does, after all, still hold the record for the 200m breaststroke for women at 2:23.37.
