injection moulding as used on golf buggy wheels

Uniquely designed and produced from injection moulded dies this is what you should have on your electric golf buggy. The best wheels are produced from a 2 part process.

Hub area and spokes are produced and then manually put back into the die to fuse the slick rubber to the outside this is a key process of the engineering of an electric golf buggy.  No consumable plastic or rubber sleeves to replace or possibility of delamination like a worn out car tyre. Superior Quality, with a 5 year warranty that is not matched by any other manufacturer.

Molten plastic is injected at high pressure into a mould, which is the inverse of the wheel’s shape. Injection molding machines, also known as presses, hold the moulds in which the components are shaped. Some moulds allow previously molded parts to be reinserted to allow a new plastic layer to form around the first part.

Note: Australian’s and the Brit’s spell mould as m o u l d whereas the Americans spell it m o l d. Though you will probably find that either is accepted in Australia as we are typically fairly lazy with spelling and are being overrun with American terminology.
