Do electricity saving devices work?
Most electricity saving appliances are actually worthless in the sense that they save very little electricity. But they claim to move mountains and that is where they can be caught. There are no magical devices that can reduce or make the power usage drop. But if you are looking for real electricity saving devices, then change your incandescent bulbs to fluorescent ones. Switch devices off and thus reduce their power usage. You can start using USB activated power boards to switch off all the appliances that are tied to a computer. Solar lighting, solar pumps, chargers etc may actually reduce some bills. Always buy the highest energy rated device, since this will make the most savings for you. So stop using electricity saving devices as advertised and follow the common rules.
